SAWIP Team explore lessons learned with HE Dr. Brewer

A few SAWIP 2011 Team members were able to make a morning meeting with the High Commissioner of the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at her Cape Town Residence.

The follow-up meeting aimed to explore lessons learnt by the 2011 Team, thus far, on the SAWIP journey. H.E. Dr. Brewer challenged the team to continue to learn, explore and be ambassadors for South Africa and Africa. As our attendance was mainly young women, Dr. Brewer encouraged them to make use of their networks and get to know each other. She left us with a quote from Madeleine Albright, "There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."
