PROFESSIONAL EXPOSURE

Real world experience provided through six week work exposure in prestigious environments in Washington, DC.

 

The South Africa-Washington International Program is helping to inspire, prepare and support South African youth to lead a sustainable democracy with a peaceful and prosperous future for all its citizens.

Alum working for Youth Development

Banele Lukhele (Alum 2010) is on the DA Young Leaders Program and in the course of the year she was asked to assist with the local elections.

 

 

Through helping the current Councillor of Ward 112 in Johannesburg, Leverne Young, she received an invitation to attend a Branch meeting. She says: ‘I am pleased to say that I have been appointed Youth Representative of the branch as of Saturday the 16 July 2011. I have been tasked with organizing events and programs for the development of all the youth in our area’.
