Principal Strategy Officer, IFC
Karin Strydom is a Principal Strategy Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group which works with private sector companies on sustainable projects in developing countries. Prior experience at IFC includes managing project finance projects as well as a Sustainability Learning Program. Before joining IFC in 1996, she worked as a strategy consultant and lawyer in South Africa. Karin received B.A. (cum laude) and LL.B. degrees from the University of Stellenbosch, where she was on the Student Representative Council for two years, and an M.B.A from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
