SAWIP is an alumni driven program. Each year, in co-operation with the SAWIP Board, the alumni help to: - raise money;
- market the program;
- manage the selection process;
- conduct the orientation process;
- fulfill a student management function in Washington DC;
- organize the graduation ceremony; and
- manage the community service.
As SAWIP continues to develop and grow - so the network of passionate alumni, dedicated to change, will expand. This network forms an incredible human capitol resource not only for the individuals but for the universities and country in general – A Force for Change!
